Why does the VPick stop playing on systems with CS4232 PnP Audio Hardware?
The earlier drivers for the Crystal Semiconductor cs4232 PnP audio hardware used on the AST Advantage, and probably a lot of other, systems cause some sort of a conflict with the printer port. The Virtual Music game installs correctly, but when the game begins, the VPick works for only about eight to ten strums, and then it totally quits.
We're not sure exactly what causes the problem, but apparently AST and Crystal Semiconductor figured it out. Their new drivers, version 1.24, correct it.
